Give Me A Break is designed with privacy first. The app does not require an account and does not collect personal data from your device.
The macOS app stores your settings locally on your Mac using system storage. Settings are not uploaded to a server by the app.
The App Store version does not include third-party update frameworks. The direct-download version can check for updates and download releases when you choose to use update functionality.
The Give Me A Break website uses Google Analytics to understand page visits and download click events. This analytics is for the website only and is separate from app behavior.
If you use Apple platform features (for example, notifications or on-device Apple Intelligence capabilities), processing occurs through Apple frameworks according to Apple's platform behavior and policies.
